Ana de Armas is freshly single, and she’s not jumping back on the dating market anytime soon.
Amid ongoing rumours of a romance between Armas and Hollywood action star Tom Cruise, People magazine reported on July 18 that the Ballerina actress is no longer dating Manuel Anido Cuesta, the stepson of Cuban president Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez.
The pair were first spotted kissing in Madrid last November and were last seen together in Spain in December 2024. But with filming for her upcoming thriller Deeper fast approaching, Ana, 37, is reportedly “focused” on her first-ever collaboration with Cruise, 63.
The two actors, who will co-star in the Doug Liman-directed film, were recently photographed lounging on a yacht near Menorca, Spain, but an insider insists there’s no romance between them.
“Not romantic,” the source told People, adding that Cruise and de Armas have simply built a strong professional rapport.
“Tom is crazy hardworking and she’s very excited to work with him. She calls it an opportunity of a lifetime,” the source said. “Tom is an incredible mentor to Ana. She has nothing but amazing things to say about him.”
The duo was first seen dining together back in February. Although they were just “discussing potential collaborations,” a separate source claimed to US Weekly that their dynamic “developed into feelings” with the Mission: Impossible star being “super smitten.”
They’ve since been photographed multiple times, including at David Beckham’s 50th birthday bash in May and on a walk around London for Ana’s birthday.
