Drew Barrymore shares real reason behind her fear of death

Drew Barrymore has recently shared real reason behind her fear of death on Drew Barrymore talk show.

During her conversation with Famous Last Words host Brad Falchuk, the Golden Globe-winning actress got emotional as she weighed in on her “crippling” fear of dying while speaking on latest episode of her talk show on November 18.

“My death is a very, very scary, infinite black void,” said the 50-year-old.

Drew told Brad, “There’s no way I’m looking forward to that.”

Interestingly, the Never Been Kissed actress explained how her perspective changed about death two years ago.

“I was walking at a friend’s wedding and I thought, ‘Why is my death a big, black infinite room? Why is it such an undesirable, dark place? I’m not a dark person,’” she continued.

Kate further said, “What if I change that room into a room of the brightest lights, and cosmos, and infinite beauty that’s so breathtaking I can’t even begin to imagine it?”

The Charlie’s Angels actress expressed her hope to make her transition easier by greeting death “with peace and a gratitude for the life I’ve had” instead of pain, fear or regret.

“I want to be meeting it with a ‘I knew I would meet you someday and I’ve looked forward to it,’” explained 50 First Dates.

Kate though mentioned, “Not in a way that I wanted it a day or a minute sooner than it was coming.”

“But that I’m not meeting you not okay with meeting you, because you’re coming no matter what,” added the Blended actress.
