Joe Jonas might be up above the stage, but he still keeps an eye on what is going on in the audience while performing with his brothers.
The 36-year-old singer revealed that he actually reads most of the signs fans are holding up during concerts, even if he gets distracted.
The Cake by the Ocean hitmaker noted that he doesn’t mind PG-13 signs too, “I think it’s fun. I think at the end of the day, like you’re going to a concert, if you get creative, have some fun with it.”
During a recent interview with SiriusXM Hits 1 Miami with Mack & Jen, Joe shared that his multitasking habit started because of their song requests segment.
“We do a section of the show, I think it’s about four songs in, where they get to dictate what we play. And so we like to hear a reason why and we get to know the audience. But… So for the first few songs, I’m just scanning reading signs, being like, ‘Okay.'”
The Camp Rock alum admitted that sometimes he loses his composure while reading the signs, saying, “You’ll see me laughing.”
Nick Jonas agreed with his brother, telling the hosts that he is indeed the bandmate who can get distracted on stage.
The Jonas Brothers have been a band for 20 years, and the tour celebrates their 20th anniversary.
