Sydney Sweeney’s career crash could be prevented by THIS project

Sydney Sweeney’s career could be saved by this one project

Sydney Sweeney is on a career roller coaster that seems to be going down, but her next project may just save it from crashing.

Sweeney has faced backlash and a slew of flops in the past few months. The Euphoria actress came under fire for her American Eagle jeans ad appearance because the ad played on the word “genes” and seemed to push a “eugenics-like” view.

“Genes are passed down from parents to offspring, often determining traits like hair color, personality, and even eye color. My jeans are blue,” said Sweeney in the ad.

Followed by the backlash over the ad, Sweeney’s new film, Christy, which was a biopic of boxer Christy Martin, became a colossal flop.

But her next film, The Housemaid, may just save the actress’ career. The film is an adaptation of Freida McFadden’s 2022 novel which already has a great fan base.

Media specialist Ryan McCormick told The Irish Star, “Analyzing the most recent 280 comments on The Housemaid film trailer on YouTube, nearly 3 out of 4 praise it.”

“The enthusiasm comes from both book readers and newcomers. One viewer said, ‘This was one of my absolute favorite books… I can not wait to see this movie!’ This is a very good sign that the film will succeed,” he noted.

He warned that if the film underperforms, Sweeney will still get roles, but ” high-quality opportunities may begin to decrease.”
