Tate McRae recalls overwhelming reaction after Taylor Swift’s applause



Taylor Swift melted Tate McRae’s heart with exciting comment

Tate McRae could not believe herself when Taylor Swift mentioned one of her songs as her favourites on a recent interview.

The 22-year-old Canadian singer looked back at the special moment while talking to the press and shared that she was “totally freaking out” when she found out.

The greedy hitmaker said that she kept seeing posts on social media about the pop superstar, 35, mentioning her single, Tit for Tat, during her interview at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and it felt like a “crazy” full circle moment since she has been a Swiftie her whole life.

The It’s ok I’m ok songstress added that she kept facetiming her friends, who also shared her opinion that “this is the craziest moment ever.”

McRae added, “I love her. Love her so much.”

This comes after the Eras Tour performer revealed in the interview that Tit for Tat was the last song she listened to and has been constantly streaming. She then told Fallon to listen to the song as well, “Like, full volume, over and over again on repeat. It’s just so good.”

Soon after the interview went live, the exes singer shared the clip on her Instagram story and wrote, “Oh my Godddddddddd [7 teary-eyed emojis, six crying emojis] whaaaaaaaaaaat.”
